Eligibility Criteria for Bank PO (Probationary Officer) Examination

The candidate must be a citizen of India However, in some banks there are also provisions for subjects of some neighboring countries.
Age limit to appear in the exam is 21-30 years.
Candidate must possess a degree from recognized university with minimum 60% aggregate. There can be certain relaxation for reserved category.
There is an addition these days, which says – candidate must have the basic knowledge of computers.

Examination and Selection Pattern for BANK PO Exams:

The pattern is divided into three stages:
Stage1. Preliminary Examination:

It is an objective test based on Reasoning ability, Quantitative aptitude, General awareness and English Language

Stage3. Group Discussion and Interview
This is for the candidates who successfully cleared the Written Test. They are called for personal interviews by respective banks.


Eligibility Criteria for BANK Clerical examination:

Age limit to appear in the exam is 18-28 years. There can be an age relaxation for OBC Other Backward Classes VI Visually Impaired Ex- Serviceman SC Scheduled Caste, General Category, Hearing Impaired, Scheduled Tribe, Person with Disability, Orthopedic ally Handicapped.
Candidate must possess a degree from recognized university with minimum 60% aggregate. There can be certain relaxation for reserved category. OR Passed with 50% marks in aggregate in Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/State Government or U.T. Administration. Diploma course passed must be a full time course with a minimum of Two Years Duration (Diploma course through correspondence are not eligible).
